I was doing some cleaning and found this little book, it is from Home Interior I think. The author is Mary Crowley. I would like to share a few saying in this book. The first I would like to share is about "attitudes", she says Attitudes are more important than facts. Attitude is the mind's paint brush it can color a situation gloomy or gray or cheerful and gay.  I hope you find this helpful. Have a great day.

  1. Oh, what a lovely saying. Perfect timing for me. I will try and use this advice.

    Mary in Oregon

  2. I like that - and Lord knows I need it. Thanks for the good idea.

  3. I just found your blog through Kathy S. What a nice and uplifting saying. With all the gloom and doom in society these days, wouldn't it be wonderful if more of us could spread this positive attitude? I am going to print this out and may work it into some stitchery.

Your liitle door hangers are lovely and speak of encouragement and a positive attitude.

  4. Wonderful saying! We all need reminders now and again to keep our attitude more positive. Thank you.
I like your little door hangers, too! It's a wonderful gift for a child to know they have that support from the grown-ups in their life.

  5. It's so true ... my husband and I have both found that if one of us is in a bad mood and one is in a good mood, the bad mood person eventually pulls the good mood person down. Isn't that sad??! Once we realized that, we took great pains to lift each other up instead! Thank you for sharing an encouraging word! Hugs!! :)

  6. I followed your blog through Kathy S as well from StitchMap. I wrote down this from my last women's conference. Life takes us to an edge. What do you do ? Behaviours are are driven by what you are thinking and feeling. Will you look at the glass half full or half empty? It is much better to have a positive outlook on life and encourage others along the way.
    Have a happy day.
